In response to the revamp of the museum’s large scale permanent exhibitions in the forthcoming years, duties include in conducting researches on the political, economic and social all aspects of 19th Century Hong Kong, a 20,000 ft. thematic gallery. To liaise and coordinate with public and private museums, as well as archives and academic institutes, for studying their potential for turning into large scale thematic exhibitions in the long run.
